	Gland eye bolts facilitate packing maintenance for ease in repacking the valve, gland eye bolts are mounted to swing aside. Gland bush shall have a shoulder on its outer end to prevent complete entry of the gland into stuffing box
	Deep stuffing boxes. Depth is more than adequate in all sizes and pressure to assure tightness and maximum packing life. Packing size confirm to API/BS standards for petroleum and allied industries.
	Extra clearance prevent stem scoring Sufficient clearance between the gland & stuffing box prevents scoring of stem, stuffing box & gland bush.
	A lantern ring shall be furnished if required by the customer.
	The stem hole in the back seat bushing shall be designed with proper clearance to guide the stem and, when the back seat bushing supports the packing, prevent extrusion of the packing.
	The stem connection to a wedge gate shall be a "T" head that is integral (without welding) with the stem. The stem connection shall prevent the stem from turning or disengaging from the gate while the valve is in service.
	In all cases Bonnet back seats are furnished against which the stem head may be seated, thus relieving. Back seat bush & stem are heat treated to maintain 50BHN difference it will give efficient seating during full opening.
	The strength of the stem to disc connection and all parts of the stem within the pressure boundary shall, under axial load, exceed the strength of the stem at the root of its operating thread.
